3

Treasurers Report

The outstanding subs lists were distributed.  The next subs letters will be out to coaches by Fri 28 Jan 05.  Coaches should encourage all sub= s to be paid by 11 Feb 05.  The treasurer requested that coaches confirm player lists ASAP.

Players not paid up by the third = week after issue should be banned from attending practices and playing in matches.  Coaches to police.=   Chairman will take a close inter= est.

4

Membership/     Registration

Registration should be carried ou= t before any players play in league games.  Coaches are warned that they should, if required, be in physical possession of spielepasses prior to games in accordance with league and insurance regulations.  Fine= s will be forthcoming from the league if we are not 100%.

No exc= uses.

Spilepasses are required for all = players that will play in Hallenkreis competitions.  Coaches should ensure that all a= re in possession.

Coaches should endeavour to updat= e the photographs of all players’ spielepasses.  A lot of the photos are well out= of date.

Digital camera head and shoulders= are sufficient.  They must be overstamped by Matt once renewed.

It is intended that all players irrespective of age should be registered with spielepasses.  This should both reduce the early season rush for next season and ensure that players move up the age group= s in subsequent seasons without hassle.

Action:  All coaches

5

Rules and Pitch Sizes

Coaches were reminded of the impo= rtance of ensuring that our children play in accordance with the rules and pitch sizes laid down by the league and produce the rules sheet to opposition coaches if challenged.

6

Conduct<= /p>

Some coaches confirmed that they = had not issued the internet version of the new club charter to all parents.  Coaches should ensure that this information is disseminated.

Despite the above there were no r= eports of misconduct of players, parents or coaches.

Coaches are to ensure that parent= s and players are given as much notice as possible for any activities planned:<= span style=3D'mso-spacerun:yes'>  training or matches.  Make sure that they more than en= ough detail.  It was suggested th= at newsletters and/or match slips of paper to confirm the verbal briefs be given.

The Chairman receives too many ca= lls from parents asking what is going on.

7

Fixtures=

The new fixture lists for the sec= ond half of the season were distributed.  These had been taken from the internet and the timings were to be ignored.  John Gotham will initiate invites for all home games.&nbs= p; We should expect to receive away invites soon.  All confirmed timings etc. will = be published on the club website when known.  Since the meeting the C1 fixture= s had been amended.  John, Matt and Deano to contact Rim for the updated list.

Additional timings etc. will appe= ar on the website when known.  Coa= ches who are not in receipt of fixture timings prior to their training sessions should contact the opposition.

Some teams will have mid-week games during the second half of the season.  Whilst this is OK for the German= teams it proves tight on timings by the time our children leave school especial= ly for away matches.  Coaches s= hould identify early those matches that will create a difficulty and either del= ay the KO or agree an alternative date with the opposition.

Matt Irwin updates Website details on receipt of the information from coaches following matches.

Coaches should continually visit = the website to confirm details and submit amendments to Matt Irwin.

All coaches are to ensure that re= sults and scorers are passed to Matt immediately following matches.

Coaches are reminded that correct= ly completed spielberichts following home matches should be left in the post= box in the gymnasium entrance immediately so that John Gotham can collect for submission.

All

Inter= net Websites:

www.prbguterslohfc.de=

www.flvw-k34.de

Matchdays

The matchday conduct of coaches in accordance with the club charter/trainers responsibilities should be adhe= red to especially the proper hosting of opponents.

Host/treat the opposition as you = would wish to be treated.

Coaches should always recce the l= ocation of an away fixture prior to the match.&n= bsp; Roadworks/diversions could have been activated since the previous visit.

All previously recce’d info= rmation should be passed to Matt for entry onto the website.

9

Welfare<= /p>

Matt Irwin is still waiting for s= ome coaches to submit their AWS forms and for others to be returned following checking.  Matt will check w= ith AWS the status of all club coaches.

All coaches should be Welfare cle= ared, forms are available on the website.

Matt was asked to contact the AWS= to arrange another off-site course for those who have yet to attend.<= /p>

10

Director of Football

No reports of coaching difficulti= es.  Stan Bowles has joined the E2’s.  Jeff Heaps will= be covering for Kev Hanbury’s D1 team until Kev returns from course.

Teams with only one coach should encourage their parents to become helpers and hopefully full time coaches= to spread the burden.

Coaches that are due posting thro= ugh or at the end of this season should inform both Rim and Kev H and attempt to recruit suitable replacements.

There are players on the waiting = lists for most teams, especially the youngers.=   Coaches should contact Kev Hanbury or Matt to ensure players are called forward to fill squad gaps.  All groups should identify vacancies and call forward players from= the waiting lists.

Rule of thumb is 16 players per s= quad for seven man teams unless the coach is able/willing to take more.

The training schedule was confirm= ed.  The updated schedule is attached= .  E2, D1, D2 and C’s confirm= ed that they were continuing to train outdoors.  All others are indoor in accorda= nce with the schedule.

It is confirmed that ball games c= an be played in the bubble gym.

&= nbsp;

11

Kitman

The Ch= airman confirmed that we would be identifying the need to purchase new full team strips for the 2005-2006 season.

Kev Hanbury to action

The or= der submitted in Nov has since arrived.  Rim is issuing the identifiable kit but Kev H will dispose of the remainder on his return.

12

Tournaments<= /b>

The cu= rrent list of invites for friendly tournaments is attached.  Coaches are reminded that they a= re able to cross-fertilize between same age teams to achieve.

Coaches were reminded that all pl= ayers and coaches who intend to enter the playing surface must have light colou= red non-marking shoes.

The German organizers will refuse= entry to the playing surface anyone without the correct footwear.

The Ch= airman apologized for the lack of friendly tournaments.  The tournaments are loaded first= come first served and because we waited for the coaches to confirm their availability we were in some cases too late.  Lesson learned for next season!<= /span>

The li= st of Hallenkreis tournaments was distributed.=   Only one team per age group has been entered.  The coaches were reminded that t= he Hallenkreis tournaments are the only time when the Chairman will state th= at we enter to win.  We select = and play the best players available.

15
