a.  Outstanding Subs lists were distributed to individual coaches.

b.   Players not paid are not to be selected for matches/tournaments.  Coaches to speak to parents to c= onfirm consequences.

Coache= s are to ensure subs are paid no later than Xmas break and submitted to the Treasu= rer.

Staff/Coaches:  Attached is the latest up-to-date list of staff and coaches.  The ideal is at least three coac= hes per team from varying backgrounds to ensure that when one is away there is sufficient cover.  All are t= o be proactive in their pursuit of new coaching staff.

Exercise/Operations:  Coaches must ensure that suitable replacements are recruited to ‘look after’ your team/squad in your absence.  Do not leave your players/parent= s in the lurch on practice/match/tournament days.

Player Allocations:  Players/parents are continually contacting the club to join.  All new players will be forwarde= d to the coach of their age group based on year of birth.  A central waiting list will NOT = be kept.  Recommended squads ar= e 16 per 7 player teams and 20 per 11 player teams. <= /p>

Training:  It is expected that training will continue during the winter period.  The agreed training schedule is attached.  Wednesdays and Thursdays are tight for space on the Astroturf and indoors.  Coaches should endeavour to util= ize facilities with commonsense.  The indoor gyms (Main and Bubble) are block booked between 1700-1900 daily, Mon-Thu for PRB use.  The younger age groups should ha= ve priority for indoors.

Thi= s aspect is critical to PRB. 

Active recruitment of players and coaches should be on-going.  Coaches to provide any amdts to = the contacts list to the Chairman.  =

Coache= s are to ensure that their absences are covered completely.  Kev Hanbury can provide assistan= ce for short term replacements   etc. but use him as a last resort.  The children should not see the = join!

Coache= s should identify vacancies, if none, individual coaches should maintain their own waiting lists and facilitate call forwards when vacancies occur.

The Ma= in Gym is CLOSED until 13 Jan 06.  Coaches sh= ould co-ordinate amongst themselves or make their own arrangements for alternative training venues.  Mansergh Bks gym sh= ould be available on request.  Am= dts to the schedule should be sent to the chairman asap.

Fix= tures

Season 2005/06:  Fixture lists for the second half are attached less U12 and U14 Girls.  Invites will be sent to oppositi= on clubs when we have the Girls fixtures confirmed. 

 

The league has been asked to amend the matches= over the British Half-terms and holidays. We await a response.

A fixt= ure secretary is required.  Not = an onerous task and can be done in addition to coaching duties.  VOLUNTEER?

Andrea:  Can you speak to Dieter or Rolf to confirm that this has happened for the sec= ond half?

Kitman

Team Kit: Replica kits and complete team kits have arr= ived including an increase in stock available for sale.  Coaches should encourage purchas= es utilizing the orders forms. 

 

 

 

After Meeting No= te:  I have received a substantial offer from the Base Trustees for kit sponsorship.  It is intended= that the sponsorship will purchase 1 x PRB Drill Top per fully paid up player = at nil cost to the club or player.  If I do not receive adverse comments by Xmas, we will go ahead with the bulk purchase for distribution asap.

PRB Merchandise: An updated list of available merchandise is attached.  Remind the parent= s that we have the replica kits and PRB merchandise are for sale.    Players/parents and = staff wearing the kit look good to the Germans.

Coache= s should collect new kit from Kev if not already done so.=  

Unfort= unately the old style tracksuits were delivered, we are waiting for the new style to replace them.

Results.  Results and score= rs should be emailed or phoned to Matt before 1200hrs on the day following the matc= h.

Photo’s.  Digital photo’s of teams and action shots can be placed into= the teams area of the website.

Routecards: There are routecards and maps on the website= for a number of away game locations.

Coache= s are to remind parents of the site.

Matt r= equires a digital Head & Shoulders of all coaches wearing PRB kit for the websi= te.

Non compliance gets the club a fine from the l= eague.

Med= ia

Media reports serve = two purposes both in advertising the club and giving the children the opportu= nity to see their names in print.  Submit your reports regularly to Mark Strickland.

Report= s will appear in the Gutersloh Gazzette and Sixth Sense only if coaches submit t= hem.

Med= als

Rim still has nearly half of the medals bought= for the 2004-05 season.  There a= re a lot of children without medals.

Please= confirm that all children from last season have been awarded their medals.  Additional medals can be obtaine= d from Rim.

Tou= rnaments

We have received invites from clubs for indoor tournaments between Jan and Feb 06.

The amended list is attached.  Coaches should provide an opport= unity for all squad players to participate in the indoor tournaments.  The relevant tournament plans ar= e also attached.  It is recommended= that no more than ten player squads are taken to tournaments. 

Hallenkreis.  The Hallenkreis is the major Gutersloh Indoor Tournament for C’s to F’s and the GU12 and GU14 teams.&n= bsp; ALL players require spielepasses.=   This is the only tournament where the club will state that we are = to enter our strongest team at each level.

Please plan well in advance, the day before is= not the time to pull out of any tournament!&= nbsp; You are depriving the children of football and subsequently reduci= ng the good feelings towards PRB by the German clubs.

Teams = should be at the tournament 30 mins prior to the start for registration.  All E team players and older req= uire spielepasses for the friendly tournaments.  All players AND COACHES require non-marking light coloured soles on their trainers.  The German hosts = will inspect and prevent entry to the playing surface by anyone without the correct footwear.

Ask Ri= m, Jeff or Kev for tournament advice if necessary.&= nbsp;

The Chairman will relinquish overall detailed club day to day busine= ss by March 2006 due to his impending op tour.=   Jeff Heaps and Mark Strickland have agreed to take over this task = for the remainder of the year.  Hopefully the join will not be noticed.

Coache= s are requested to continue in their pro-activeness towards all aspects of their individual team/squad management to reduce the burden on the club managem= ent staff.  If you are able to s= ort out a particular problem yourself then carry on as long as it is within t= he Club Charter Guidelines.  Pl= ease ensure that all actions with wider implications are copied to the Chairman/Vice Chairman for their info.
