Introduction

The Chairman welcomed and thanked everyone to the meeting. He also welcomed the following new coaches to PRB FC:

 

David Bailey – C Jugend coach.

Jason Hands – F2 Jugend coach.

Previous Minutes

The previous minutes were read and the Chairman reminded everybody the importance of attending meetings as agreed by all coaches.

Subscriptions

Matt Irwin  confirmed several outstanding subs. This was due to players joining the club later on in the season. Names were given to those coaches.

All outstanding money is to be paid to Matt by the AGM.  It was also discussed at the meeting the subscriptions fee. Matt Irwin was to source the cost of a tracksuit and T-Shirt which would be given to each player when they join the club as part of there subscriptions. This would allow them to wear there tracksuits to away games and to use for their own personal use.

Fixtures List

B Jugend have entered into a tournament over the period 27/28 June. All other teams were to complete their last match this weekend and ensure they have all their strips cleaned and available for the AGM on the 6 June.

Coach Allocation 2009/10 Season

The following personnel have kindly volunteered to coach the following teams for the 2009/10 season:

Tracy Mallon has volunteered to deputize for anyone who could not make Trg / Matches.

Courses

The Chairman confirmed there will be more FA level 1 / 2 courses throughout the year. He had spoken to Capt Pete Dawson who confirmed we would be allocated spaces on the next course due to the large turnover of coaches being posted on promotion or leaving the Army.

AGM

6 June 09

The Chairman spoke about the forthcoming AGM over the period 6 June 09. Everyone was to be present on the RHQ conf room 6 Regt RLC at 1000hrs for a full briefing. The provisional outline programme will be as follows:

 

1000hrs- Meet in RHQ Conf Rm 6 Regt RLC

1030hrs – Move to football pitches / Set stalls up.

1200hrs – Photographer arrives.

1215hrs – All players arrive.

1220 -1330hrs- Photo shoot (Individual / Teams).

1330-1515hrs – Team competitions.

1530hrs – Bde Comd arrives

1545hrs – Bde Comd presents prizes.

1600hrs – BBQ.

1700hrs – Clear up.

Miscellaneous

The following points were raised by the Chairman:

 

CRB Clearance

 

Tracy Mallon spoke about the ongoing CRB issues. The  following personnel were asked to complete their CRB applications / Issues:

 

Christian Wendler – Requires x 1 more reference.

Shane Grimes – Speak to Karen Greatbanks.

John Duncan – Chairman confirmed his has been completed, but was in the FI for the next 6mths.

 

Notice board up to date

 

Matt Irwin was to ensure that the notice board displayed within the gymnasium was up to date, including coach names, training sessions and the new club application forms.

 

Wolves Visit – 25-29 May 09

 

Mick Openshaw has kindly volunteered to support Wolves visit over the above dated. Ronnie Bruce was to ensure he had enough footballs and training bibs to loan Wolves.

 

Media

 

Ronnie Bruce has kindly volunteered to take on the role of Media Officer. He is to engage with the Gutersloh Gazzette and try and get a regular slot each month.

 

Tracy Mallon will continue using her links with the 6th Sense.

 

Football posts / Nets

 

The Chairman informed everybody that he had spoken again to G4 Estates / Base QM regarding the goal posts. They have initially agreed to file down the lugs on the inside of the posts to prevent any injuries. They would like to know where to purchase and the cost of new goalposts. The gym have received a grant of 90K.

 

 

Cancellation of matches / Notification

 

The Chairman reminded everyone the importance of giving Andrea Irwin a minimum of 10 days notice to cancel matches (Bad weather / Opposition canceling). Also, Matt Irwin will ensure more notice is given on the PRB webpage to confirm timings and rescheduled dates to avoid last minute preparations for coaches and parents.
